Hi All,
In this videocast Chad talks with his predecessor, Will Martin-Gill, about topics such as what it’s like to work within eBay Partner Network, his advice for our partners and also parting advice for Chad in his new role.
Thank you for your commitment to eBay Partner Network and best wishes in your new position, Will!
The eBay Partner Network Team

Great video guys, Really well done. Glad you guys user proper equipment too as that wind looks like it could have destroyed the sound. Kudos to the production team.
Some good advice from Will there and I really hope that Chad continues to innovate on the communications side. Glad to hear there wont be any core changes foreseen in the next two years too
However, this is the Internet, two years is a long time.
Best of luck in the new role Will. Hopefully our paths will cross again soon.
First constructive comment – Again remember that the mikes pickup everything. Picked up the music playing in the courtyard or on someones machine.
In response to Will’s comment about the need to increase their exposure on the forum – ANYTHING more than now would be an improvement.
Interesting concept that Will raised: how ePN is engaged in “friendly competition” with other marketing channels within eBay itself. Hadn’t really thought of that before, and it’s a reminder too that ePN itself must generate a certain ROI for eBay the mother ship — hopefully a favorable one!

I was pleased to hear Will speak highly of specialized websites. I hope eBay continues to reward small-time affiliates who really know their niche, not just the massive marketing behemoths who use technology to boost their traffic. Valuing topical experts is good for everyone — eBay, affiliates, and consumers.
