The Site Rotation ID and Vector ID example list posted in this thread doesn't seem to agree with what is really being created by the RSS feed. The US for example, the list above says the vector ID is 229466 for the US BUT the US feed itself resolves to 238401. Which is right ?

Actually... no, that doesnt work either. Still shows only the active auctions and not the store listings. Are these pages out of date or no longer being used....

If they are out of date, why are they still up?

I have found the problem.... The "new ebay experience" has no rss button for the results once you have created the feed, thus it is impossible to generate it. You have to switch back to the old ebay page to get the rss button on the bottom of the page for the feed. Man, wish someone would have told me that a week ago....

Hmmm... I guess there is nobody who is following up on these comments. Perhaps someone could answer this... Is the affiliate RSS tool not working properly or is it just that you don`t want us creating feeds with products from ebay store inventory? A prime example would be trying to create an affiliate feed for Stussy Sunglasses. There are only 6 available on auction, however, there are 108 available in the ebay stores inventory. When I go to create a feed for these items, I select the option for all items, including store inventory. However, the resulting RSS feed contains only 6 items, and only the items that are on auction. Thus, I am respectfully asking, is this tool not working properly or is it that you don`t allow store inventory in the affiliate rss feed? I would hate to have to refer traffic to Amazon or CJ.com when the items are available on ebay. It bugs me that the affiliate rss tool says that this is an option and it doesn`t seem to work. Furthermore, I posted a comment on this thread a week ago and have heard nothing. Can someone provide some kind of feedback?

Copy and pasted custom url html from the link generator into wordpress blog but it kept showing the whole affiliate link text in wordpress. I checked my tags and everything was closed appropriately. So I went in and edited out the new elements added and just used the normal custom link without the extra parameters and it worked fine like before.

Will our links not be tracked right if we edit these new parameters? Based on your last answer about swapping old links - it seems they should still function if we still do it "the old way".

@Patmac

Good question. There is no need to swap out old links with the new, all clicks and commissions will still be tracked with the old link structure as well.

While this tool is good, why hasnt the affiliate rss tool been updated to include inventory from stores? The interface says it can pull products from all sources but it ignores items in ebay stores. Any reason why?

Thanks! I have been searching for a detailed break down of the generated link. I use many automated scripts to create links on the fly and this detail ensures my links will be correct. Great Work!
