Very good tips, straight to the point. Of course any seriouns affiliate would nee to go more in-depth with these things, especially the area of keyword research. Luckily there’s plenty of tools available. And yes, picking something that you’re interested in and have a passion for is key to success.

Great post of the basics. New and old affiliates need to do more reserch than anything else. Not everything on the net is sold on ebay. Infact most highend retailers do not want there products sold on ebay because of the rep of having millions of cheap product it will be assoitiated with. Look at Pottery Barn.
Affiliates need to remember that their are 100s of affiliate programs and epn isnt the only game in town.
Don’t pick a niche because the product is on ebay. pick it beacause of your research then find a affiliate.

I hope a lot of people read this post. It is good basic info that affiliate marketers often forget. Of course, now we’ll probably see a bunch of new sites dedicated to “shoes for dogs, Viking collectibles and bonsai tree seeds…”
