I too use ( and need) a single URL for most of the links I post, not the new-fangled Java/html nonsense: many forums ban such links. Please ebay, retain that basic facility as an option.

Hi there – I was very happy with the previous link tool and how it used to provide a single url that I could then plug in to my website.

Last night when I used the tool for an “item#” it brings back lengthy snippets of JAVA/HTML code for a simple link.

Can someone please explain what is in these snippets, why are they so long? It’s complete code bloat.

What I did was just left the LINK TEXT box EMPTY and then used the shorter url that appears next to “preview” – is this sufficient?

It would be nice if we could have buttons on the regular Ebay interface to create links for searches, products and stores as we are searching normally through EBay. Is that where this is going?

Any chance, with the the linking of the accounts, we can get functionality similar to amazon’s associate program? They have the ability to, with one click, create an affiliate link to any page on the site. they have a bar that runs across the top of Amazon when you’re logged in and one of the affiliate options is to “create a link to this page”

75% of the links I create with the partner network are to individual, collectible items, so having that would greatly increase my efficiency building out content.

And, yes, the font is way to small.

With these and all upcoming changes what is EPNs official stance on websites that offer impression sharing programs suchas hubpages….

Ie .. an author inputs their Epn ID and the ads with their code are shown a certain % of the time

This will be a great update, I’ve been looking forward to seeing these new features for months!

It would be much better if you allow publishers earn from clicks too, just like Shopzilla. Hope you will consider my suggestion.
